Developed a cohesive brand identity for a sports data platform, establishing the logo, typography, and a comprehensive style guide.

I translated this identity into motion by designing custom HUD elements for "Golf" video analysis. Using motion tracking to ensure a fluid, integrated look and adding synchronized sound effects, I transformed raw sports footage into a polished, high-energy data visualization experience.

Challenges

The Challenge: Designing high-tech HUDs that enhance data clarity without distracting from the action. This required precise motion tracking to anchor graphics to fast-moving objects, ensuring the visuals felt like a natural part of the environment.

Solution

I researched sports UI trends to develop a clean brand identity, then used After Effects to execute the vision. By applying motion tracking, I anchored the HUD elements to moving objects, ensuring the data followed the action seamlessly and remained intuitive for the viewer.

Result

The Result: Successfully delivered a cohesive golf data visualization that maintains a consistent brand identity throughout. By aligning the HUD elements with the established color and typography, I created a professional, broadcast-ready video where the data and the brand feel perfectly integrated.

Learnings

Learning how to prioritize information so the viewer’s eye goes to the most important data point first without getting overwhelmed.

Learning how subtle sound effects can reinforce a visual data point, making the "hit" or "point" feel more impactful to the viewer.
